Masdar Company for Building Materials has signed an agreement with the Saudi Ports Authority (Mawani) to establish an integrated logistics hub at Jeddah Islamic Port, reinforcing Saudi Arabia's ambitions to strengthen supply chain capabilities and become a leading global logistics centre.
The agreement was signed by H.E. Eng. Suliman bin Khalid Almazroua, President of the Saudi Ports Authority (Mawani) and H.E. Mr. Faisal Majed Al Muhaidib, Chief Executive Officer of Masdar Company.
The new logistics hub will support cargo handling, warehousing and distribution services, providing integrated logistics solutions that improve operational efficiency while supporting the growing demand for advanced supply chain infrastructure across the Kingdom.
With an investment of SAR 57 million, the project will span approximately 91,000 square metres and deliver a range of value-added services, including integrated supply chain solutions, smart digital logistics, consulting and training services and a one-stop destination for building materials.
The development aligns with Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 objectives to enhance logistics infrastructure, facilitate trade, and strengthen the Kingdom's position as a strategic gateway connecting regional and international markets. By leveraging Saudi Arabia's geographic location, the facility is expected to improve cargo movement, increase supply chain resilience and support continued economic growth.
The agreement reflects continued investment in modern logistics infrastructure that supports the construction, manufacturing and building materials sectors while contributing to a more efficient and sustainable logistics ecosystem.
