Today marks the grand opening of the 12th edition of Big 5 Construct Saudi, the largest construction event in the Kingdom, running till 29 February 2024 at the Riyadh Front Exhibition & Conference Centre. With anticipation at its peak, more than 55,000 attendees are gearing up to explore a plethora of innovations, cutting-edge technologies, products & services and networking opportunities.
Twice the size:
Doubling in size and covering an area of 70,000sqm, the event unites stakeholders to explore emerging trends, capitalize on market opportunities and chart the course towards sustainable growth whilst bringing together 1,300+ exhibitors from 47 counties.
International Contracting Conference (ICC):
The 4th edition of the two-day International Contracting Conference (ICC), organized by the Saudi Contractors Authority (SCA) and dmg events, will host insightful dialogues and discussions on urban construction, smart cities, sustainability and advanced building techniques.
Opening address:
His Excellency Mr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail, the Minister of Municipal, Rural Affairs and Housing will deliver the opening address at the ICC. Also speaking at the conference is Eng. Zakaria bin Abdulrahman Al-Abdulqader, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Saudi Contractors Authority (SCA).
Product launches:
Midea, a leading global provider of air conditioning solutions, will launch its latest product called ‘IcyBlast’ on the first day of the event. The company showcases its products and solutions in collaboration with H&H Shaker, the Exclusive Diamond & Badge Sponsor of Big 5 Construct Saudi. Another exhibitor participating at Big 5 Construct Saudi for the first time, Euro Systems, launches Europhon Acoustics, a new product aimed at creating acoustically comfortable spaces. The company’s participation coincides with their new office opening in Riyadh.

Debuting at this year’s event, Stanley Black & Decker is set to showcase innovative power and hand tools, accessories, anchors, and technology, supporting construction professionals with end-to-end solutions from their brand Dewalt.
ImageGrafix International for Information Technology will deliver technical presentations on its softwares, including Oracle Primevera, Fusion PPM and Aconex.
Heavy machinery & equipment exhibits:
In 2024, Big 5 Construct Saudi features its largest outdoor area, doubling from the last edition, with 41 exhibitors including key brands on display such as Baltur, Colle, Elematic, Galadari Saudi Industrial Company, Al Marwan Heavy Machinery, Al Motwakil Motors Company and Guangdong Hao Lixin Construction Machinery.
Co-located events:
Construction professionals visiting the event will explore the full construction value chain from inception to completion as Big 5 Construct Saudi co-locates with specialty events such as HVAC R Expo Saudi, FM Expo Saudi, Stone & Surface Saudi Arabia and Windows, Doors & Facades Event Saudi.
New country pavilions:
Seventeen country pavilions shine the spotlight on construction solutions from Germany, Italy, Greece, Saudi Arabia, the UK, South Korea, Kuwait, Türkiye and China, among others, enable visitors to explore a variety of products & services. These also include four new pavilions Egypt, India, Jordan and Spain, enhancing the diversity of international exhibitors at Big 5 Construct Saudi.
Product sectorization:
This year, Big 5 Construct Saudi further addresses the evolving needs of the Saudi construction market through product sectorization, introducing five new sectors: concrete, construction technologies, paints, steel and urban design & landscape.
CPD-certified talks
Attendees can gain CPD points by participating in 60 certified educational panels and discussions covering nine key streams: concrete, sustainability, decarbonization, HVAC R, architecture & design, facilities management, project management, digital construction, and codes & standards.
